About Us

On June 18, 2007, as the result of an asset purchase by Franklin Bank, S.S.B., Access Lending became the Franklin Bank Access Lending Division.

Access Lending was established in 1997. From the beginning, Access Lending's warehouse financing efforts were geared toward the middle market segment of the residential mortgage origination industry where relationships are truly appreciated. Access Lending made the decision to grow strategically in the first several years of operations by maximizing the use of technology and hiring experienced advisors and operating personnel who could assist in executing the Company's growth strategy.

Given Access Lending's initial focus of building a solid, expandable operations infrastructure, its early warehouse financing customers were largely the result of referrals from industry contacts and "word-of-mouth." Once relationships were established with these mortgage origination firms, Access Lending sought to enhance and grow these relationships through the delivery of superior customer service, including quick turnaround of financing requests, reliable funding and consistent, friendly guidance.
